Explore!

So here are some images from my time so far. I've been having a great time and I even now have a mobile. This picture is of me having an Amstell here in the Netherlands where it is made. It was so good fresh from the tap. The other picture is of me in the Double AA, a cafe down the road in Centraal Leiden where you can smoke inside. I like the atmosphere of the shop.

This picture below is of a 17th century lion that sat atop the town hall here in Leiden. I recognize it from the Tulip Toren downtown. This version survived a fire in the early 18th century and was recently found at an antique store. It is missing the original keys of Leiden, which I believe the Tulip Toren has... so now I know what the lion on the tulip tower is!

This picture is of Mark, another person from the program. He resides in New York. He found some Doritos at the supermarket and instead of Cooler Ranch they're called Cool American. So Mark is certainly a cool American, he had to buy the chips.

Here some of are eating pizza outside. We were total losers and desperate to eat. Somebody told us how to get to the pizza place and didn't tell us it was only for pickup/delivery. So we sat on the sidewalk.

darling, your website is fantastic! it is so amazing of you to reflect and share so, ahem, publicly if that is what the internet is.

i'm so glad that you've called me twice, i absolutely adore you and i am so proud of you for having the balls to go somewhere so far away, there aren't many people who take up an opportunity like this.

the pictures are also vivid and lovely, very cool.

Hey there, Michael!

It looks like you're having a fantastic time so far - I'm more jealous than I can possibly convey through writing, but truly glad you've gotten the opportunity to run away from the U.S.; at least for awhile...

Take care and have a great time!

Chris
